Freedom of Information Requests
The Freedom of Information Act 2000 provides public access to recorded information that is help by a public authority (this does not give people access to their own personal data).
Anyone can make a Freedom of Information (FOI) request.
For schools, the standard time limit is 20 school days (a day that children are in attendance), or 60 working days if this is shorter.
Freedom of Information requests will only be accepted in writing and must include the following:
- Include the requester's real name
- Include and address for correspondence (Postal or email)
- Describe the information requested
